Just finished building a client website and want to hand it over to them? The best way to do this is by sending them a remix link of the site. Follow the steps below to do this:

Once you've built the site on your Framer account, you need to create a remix link to send to your client. To create the remix link, with the site open in Framer, go to the Framer menu dropdown in the top left (Framer logo with a down arrow) > File > Copy Remix Link

Once you have copied the Remix link, you can send this over to your client. Once your client opens this link, they will be prompted to copy the project to their account. Doing this will create a duplicate version of the project on their account.

From here, they can add a Site Plan, and a custom domain and publish the website. They can access the plans, domain and site settings using the settings cog in the top right. And they're done, they now have a published site!

Handing over the project it this way ensures you own the site until it has been completed and is ready to handover. Once the site has been handed over through the remix link, you also get to keep a copy as a backup on your own account.
